Introducing dashdash Templates
Prebuilt, customizable tools to access business data and APIs
Ever since we started building dashdash, our purpose has always been to “create tools that make computation accessible to everyone”. We want to allow the 1 billion Excel users worldwide to easily build tools catering to their personal and professional needs without code and using a familiar interface — a spreadsheet!
We gave users access to business data and APIs through Integrations with platforms like Crunchbase, LinkedIn, Mailchimp, Google Maps and more. To make it even easier, we introduced Instant Integrations, which allow calling these without the need for API keys or monthly subscriptions. You pay us for just what you consume, up to a monthly limit you define.
And now, to make building tools even easier, we’re launching Templates!

1. Find companies by size
Integrations: Crunchbase Input: - Required: Company size, and category. - Optional: Location, and founding date. Output: List of companies matching the criteria with data including company name, domain, founding date, status, description, categories, employee count, contact email, address, city, country, total funding amount in USD, funding rounds, investors, LinkedIn URL, Crunchbase URL, people associated with the company, and IPO information. Price: $0.10/request

Integrations: Pipl + Google Search — top sites (LinkedIn) Input: Full name, and company name. Output: Phone numbers linked to the person. The data object returned also contains additional information about the person including email addresses, career history, addresses, social media URLs, usernames, gender, date of birth, languages, relationships, and associated images. Price: - $0.05/request to retrieve the LinkedIn profile. - $0.45/request to retrieve the phone numbers.

Integrations: Mailchimp + Crunchbase Input: Mailchimp audience ID Output: List of Mailchimp subscribers enriched with Crunchbase company data including company name, domain, founding date, status, description, categories, employee count, contact email, address, city, country, total funding amount in USD, funding rounds, investors, LinkedIn URL, Crunchbase URL, people associated with the company, and IPO information. Price: - Free to retrieve the Mailchimp subscribers. - $0.04/request to retrieve the Crunchbase data.
4. Find and enrich people on LinkedIn
Integrations: Google Search — top sites (LinkedIn) + Hunter Input: Job title/function, and company name or location. Output: Person’s name, title, LinkedIn URL, email address, and confidence score. Price: - $0.05/request to retrieve the LinkedIn profile. - $0.04/request to retrieve the email address.
5. Track stocks with Slack alerts
Integrations: Alpha Vantage + Slack Input: Company name, Slack username, and trigger logic, if needed. Output: The company stock symbol, as well as real-time data including the open, high, low, current price, volume, latest trading day, previous close, change, and percentage of change. Price: - Free to get the stocks quotes. - Free to send Slack messages.
6. Find News articles and mentions
Integrations: News API Input: Required: Keywords. - Optional: Date, language, and domains. - Output: Articles including source, author, title, description, URL, image URL, publishing date, and content. Price: - Free to get News articles and mentions (API key needed).
