Back from a few days in SF

TECH WEEK by a16z is great. 2024 had tech weeks in NY, SF and LA (next week i think). Any company/org can publish their own events during the week, I attended several, and 7 in 9 were actually pretty useful. Users, Clients, Partners, PMF, Growth, Sales and ofc AI AI AI AI AI AI AI. (Did I tell you about AI?)
Waymo is absolutely spectacular. I agree with Ben Thompson that they should rebrand to Google. It is a professional service, works everytime, and the sw UX is incredibly simple and polished. (watch the 1min video with sound on). We’ve come a long, long way since 2006-07 when i last got inside a driverless car, and this will only get better.
