AI Cell is a powerful new feature in Rows that brings AI-assisted functionality right into your spreadsheets. Whether you're writing complex formulas or need contextual insights, AI Cell offers smart suggestions and automation right from within the cell editor.
How to Activate AI Cell
There is only one way to activate the AI Cell — through the existing formula auto-complete system:
- Start with
=in any cell. - This will trigger the formula autocomplete as usual: matching function names will appear.
- If there’s no exact match and the cell is empty, an additional suggestion will appear → Solve with AI
- If the cell has an existing formula or value, autocomplete will show:
- Solve with AI
=current formula | value– so you can inspect or reuse what was there.
