What is Rows Vision?
Rows Vision uses AI to scan files and pull out the data inside — whether it's a table in a PDF, an invoice in a screenshot, or numbers from a picture. With just a few clicks, Rows turns visual content into structured data, ready to analyze or share.
How to Use Rows Vision
You can upload files in a few different ways — all simple and fast:
- From the dashboard
- Click the Import file button.
- Then, select or drag your file/image.
- From inside a spreadsheet
- Drag and drop your file (PDF, image, screenshot) directly into the spreadsheet canvas.
- Or, click Import > File > Select or drop a file/image to import.
Rows will scan the document and automatically insert the extracted data into a new table.
Providing instructions
Tell Rows Vision what to extract from the file — for example: "only dates and amounts" or "extract the invoice line items".
If you leave the prompt empty, Rows will extract everything it can find.
Supported File Types
Rows Vision works with:

Image and PDF content is processed with AI to extract tabular data — even if it’s messy, stylized, or scanned.
