The AI Analyst is available to all users. You can access it by clicking the ✨ AI icon in the top bar of the spreadsheet.

What is different about using AI in Rows?

Answer

Rows is the only spreadsheet that offers the analytical capabilities of the AI Analyst and a native suite of AI-powered formulas. What makes the AI experience in Rows special:

It's native. You don't need to install, extensions, add-ons or upgrade —all the AI features are seamlessly woven into the spreadsheet interface for a fluid user experience.
It helps make sense of your data. You can use AI to execute a broad range of analytical tasks across your entire spreadsheet using only plain natural language. This includes data cleanup, merging, extraction, classification, and advanced analysis. Discover more.
It's combined with traditional spreadsheet capabilities. This means that you can ask AI to execute typical spreadsheet commands, such as adding columns, editing cells, finding/replacing, building charts, and formatting.

How is the usage of the AI features added to my plan?

The AI Analyst ✨ is available in all plans. The Free plan includes a limited number of prompts per month, while the paid plans include unlimited prompts.

Does Rows protect my privacy?

Answer

We prioritize the security of your data:

Your data is not used to train AI models.
We transmit only the minimum necessary information to the AI algorithm.

Is my data used for model training?

Answer

No. The AI Analyst does not use your data to train models that could be used by others. We minimize the data sent to the AI algorithm. For more details on our data processing, visit rows.com/privacy.

What data is shared with the model?

Answer

To protect your privacy, we send the AI model a summary of your dataset, including:

Table headers
A sample of up to 5 rows of data
Basic dataset statistics (e.g., min and max values)

Question 7

Which model powers AI in Rows?

Answer

Rows uses a combination of OpenAI's GPT models, Llama and other LLMs. We regularly update it to the latest available models.

Question 8

Can I use a different model with the AI Analyst?

Answer

Currently, we exclusively use a series of models selected by us. For enterprise solutions or custom requirements, please contact us at enterprise@rows.com or use the "Chat with us" option in your Rows account's support menu.

Question 9

What should I do if the AI Analyst is taking longer than expected?

Answer

If processing time exceeds 30 seconds, we recommend waiting briefly and trying again.
